The Pacific NorthWest draws in a certain type of whimsical magical persons.... Many of those which I've met are certainly occupying the Fae world. This whole Oregon land is sort of like a fairy tale... Moss growing atop every possible surface that touches the sun. In an interesting kind of perspective it really is an underwater, wet world here. It rains about 10x a day and all of the extra growth results from the gracious rain and causes for some very interesting sea-like habitats.
The main purpose of this blog is to get hired as a professional mermaid, and to get other working mermaids together so we can work as a team! I would love to see who all has got tails already in Oregon near me, I live in Eugene currently. I've found many mermaids of all ages already out here, but I know there's more! I encorage anyone reading this to contact me so we can get together!
Even if us mermaids never get to meet up face go face I would Love to discuss some future project ideas! This could mean photography sessions, short film ideas, and whatever we can dream up. The things I have been looking into recently are things such as Underwater Choreography, and Ocean Protection acts. I run a coral reef restoration project which you can find through my contact page. I focus on promoting ocean life and hope to do this more so with mermaid tails!
For photo shoots I thought it would be cool to incorporate my handmade faery wings underwater- Here are a few examples of underwater photography/Choreography that I have in mind ~ (pictures below) I really am into the long Taffeta and silk materials.
Please feel free to contact me through this website (Please include a good way to contact you in the message so I can get back to you!) - Or Email me at merpeople97@gmail.com. Much love!
