Coral bleaching is of a huge threat to our society

an increasing issue that must be addressed directly.

Many coral scientists are finding ways to genetically

enhance the structure of corals and their DNA to

be more resilient within the increasing toxicity and

climate taking place in the ocean currently.

Symbiodinium is a type of algae that has a wonderful symbiotic

relationship with coral, in which they support the nutrient intake

for the coral, and enable them to flash their brilliant colors.

Scientists have made efforts to study this algae, but it is

very difficult to do.
